What are the issues you face when you access public wifi?

The biggest issue I face is the privacy concern and hence, I prefer not to use sensitive information like my credit card number, accessing social security accounts or important documents while I am connected to public wifi. I still feel very comfortable using an airport Wifi because somehow I feel that it should be safe since a lot of passengers are present and if the data is leaked, that will impact the prospects of airports.

Any other precautions you think I should take?

I don’t use public wifi, but since you have various concerns with it, I’d recommend looking into using Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 app.

I don’t use Public WiFi, too many opportunities to hack into something. I would rather use a vpn or just my regular data.

I don't use public wifi as it is unsecure and just unsafe could lead to viruses and hacking.

It's hard to make calls or get a strong signal on public wifi spots. There's also restrictions so you can't download.

The risk to privacy on public WiFi something we don't want to be exposed to. I will never do financial transactions when linking my devices to public networks.
