Airport waiting times

Recently, I had to take a 16 hour layover to an international flight when I was travelling. The layover was at Dubai and there was a lot many things to do there. Even seeing the airport is quite interesting and one can spend an entire day there doing nothing but enjoying the place. That kept apart, I am curious to know how you guys spend your waiting hours at the airport?

If its small airport and they offer wifi, I play games on my laptop. When a free wifi is not available, I usually watch some of those 'downloaded but never watched' movies in my OTT platforms.

How do you guys spend time in airports?

I've never traveled by plane so I am not familiar with all of this. But based on movies and what I read it does sound like a pain in the ass. I dunno what I would do if I had to wait that long. Maybe read a book.

I haven’t experienced a flight delay before on the flights I’ve been on but I do feel bad for whoever has gone through it.

Without wifi it would be a challenge, but with it, it's not a big deal. Of course, I would never be prepared for no wi-fi, but I would have to deal with it, but assuming I had a bit of cash, some fun at a big airport is easy.

I can't read at the airport, though—it’s way too noisy for me. As someone who’s pretty noise-sensitive, I’d probably get distracted every five seconds.

When I’m waiting at the airport, I usually end up doing Sudoku. Funny thing is, I never do it otherwise. If not that, I just kill time playing phone games—it’s the easiest way to stay entertained!
